Is there a way to edit the subject of an already existing event?
There is no way to edit the subject of an event. We originally made that choice to ensure the data integrity of events. The subject and description are static. Any updates to the event are done through changing the status or adding a comment, which are tracked in event’s history.
That said, we’re always open to new ways of looking at things. Can you describe your use case in more detail?
I had incorrectly used a payload variable when creating the event in a workflow, so now I have a bunch of event subjects referring to the wrong information.
I have corrected the workflow now, but was just wondering if there was a way to correct the generated events.
