Search field in "Assign Devices to System" is broken


I just found a little UI bug: whenever you start searching for any character in the “Assign Devices to System” search box of a system device, it won’t return any results, and an orange alert icon with the text “invalid” shows up straight away.

Also, this search field only returns items that start with search term. So if you have a child device called: “the-cat-loves-mice”, the device would not be found if you type “cat”, “mice” or “loves”: it does when you search for “the” or “the-cat”

Selecting them from the list and adding child devices works without any problems

Thanks for the report; I see what you mean. We recently rolled out a new device selector in that and a couple other spots. I will file a bug ticket and get that fixed in our next platform update.
