Record Trips on GPS History Block

Hi all,

I was wondering if there is a way to take snapshots within the GPS History block based on attributes.
In my case, my sensor is sending “start trip” and “end trip” attributes, so instead of having a time based visualization, I would like to be able to visualize single trips.
Is that possible within the GPS History Block?

Down the road I would like to be able to give the user the option to take a look at past trips and compare the routes on the map.

We cannot currently support a range of points based on a dynamic value from device attributes; what the block can do is show GPS data from a given device for a duration of time (30 minutes, 60 minutes) and you can set the end time using the past dashboard states feature.

I’ll log a feature request for this, though - the ability to feed a more specific set of data into the block.
