Clicking upon this block from within a PC browser (Firefox) will bring me to an Events page which will allow me to view or Acknowledge/Resolve the event.
Clicking upon this block from an IOS browser does nothing.
Is this the expected correct behavior?

Are you logged in to Losant on your iOS device? If it is a public dashboard, and you are not logged in, the Open Event Indicator block will not link to the event (since you would need to be logged in to see the event).
I just did a quick test myself on my iPhone, and the Open Event Indicator block (when logged in) does link appropriately, at least for me.
Its a public dashboard and I am not logged in on the IOS platforms.
The behavior you described strikes me as odd and unexpected.
