Onboarding a device with multiple interfaces (BACnet, MODbus, MQTT, OPC UA etc.)

Hello,

I am looking for some guidance to onboard a particular equipment with different interfaces such as BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, OPC UA etc. How do we need to configure a recipe for this ?

We have done it for BACnet alone, should we create a recipe for each interface ? or can we create one recipe to accept any supporting interface??

Thanks in advance.

Hello @Mura_Hari,

When you mention configuring a recipe, are you speaking about Device Recipes? Could you tell me a bit more about your use case?

If you’re looking for a way to communicate to equipment via those protocols, you can check out the Losant Edge Agent, which has native support for those protocols you mentioned.

If the Edge Agent is not a viable solution, you can get data into the Losant Platform by either MQTT or HTTP.

Thank you,
Heath

Thanks @Heath
