Hi,
is there a way to prevent GPS maps from initially starting at central US before loading the actual GPS location?
Looking at page load and refreshes at a location way off from the final position and with minimal zoom is a bit strange for experience users in other regions. It would be nicer to get the map content only displayed after the final position has been loaded.

Fair point. We do like to initialize the map as soon as possible for performance reasons, which requires providing a starting location and zoom level, but we will investigate if there are ways to hide it or do a better guess as to where the initial starting point should be. Thanks for the feedback.

With our most recent update, we have released the ability to set the default viewport for GPS maps. This will allow you to control where the map starts prior to the pins loading.
