All device id begin with the number 6?

Hello everyone. I need know if a device ID always begin with 6. Thanks

No, there is no guarantee that device IDs begin with a ‘6’. The IDs are sequential-ish, in that they are Mongo Object IDs.

So while all device IDs will begin with 6 for a while, the time will come when they do not. I actually checked back in one of our oldest applications and the device IDs in there began with “566”.
