Have an application need to process high speed video streaming data (RTSP based) in an assembly line operation mode. Does anyone have experience in doing this within the Losant platform.
Typically, in the Losant use-cases, I’ve seen the “high-speed video streaming data” isn’t what’s getting sent to Losant. Typically, the video is processed on the edge, and the process data (objects detected, etc.) is sent to the cloud. Here is a video example of a similar use case:
Another approach would be using a video process service or building a custom one using AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and integrate the data with Losant using MQTT, HTTP, or an Integration.
Unfortunately, today Losant has no way of directly consuming an RTSP based video stream.
