Using a “DEVICE: CONNECT” node and is selecting based on a tag= value.
It works great, but shouldn’t I also be able to to “Not Equal too” like != ?
The Device: Connect Trigger only supports selecting by equality - either by device ID or tag value. All device triggers (State, Inactive, etc.) have the same selector. There is currently no way to query by “not equal” directly in these triggers.
We’ve been rolling out our Advanced Query capability to most places devices are selected. Advanced queries do support “not equal”, but I can’t provide a timeline for when they’ll be available in device triggers.
