[Solved] Virtual Button doesn't update device state

I notice that forcing a payload with the Virtual Button node doesn’t update the device state log, or store data for dashboard usage.

Is there a way to use a virtual button to generate data that will be stored to facilitate testing of vistualizing data from an actual workflow to a Dashboard?

Hi Paul,

I would attach a Device State Node to your virtual button to set your device state to use whatever fake data you want it to use. And then use that testing device on a dashboard to display your fake data.
