Is there a way to do a remote mass fleet update for the edge agent version, Im using docker on windows. While the fleet is smaller right now and it is feasible to remote into half a dozen or so devices and manually kill the container, download the newest version then run the container again, its still rather time consuming and we eventually hope to have many more devices where this approach will not be realistic anymore.
There’s nothing built into Losant itself, but there are several other options - at least for Linux-based operating systems.
For example, portainer.io is an open-source option. We also wrote a blog article years ago about using resin.io (not known as balena.io), though I don’t believe they support Windows.
