Data rates and batching

I was trying to find an old response in this forum but was not able to find it.

It’s in regards to payloads and “batching” of payloads.

If I sample and upload data every 1 minute, compared to upload every 15 minutes,
( that message contains every data point per minute within those 15 minutes).
Wouldn’t that be the same payload cost?

You are correct. It is the same amount of payloads. An easy way to think about it is: if you report in batch, any workflow listening to the state of the reported devices will trigger for each payload within the batch of payload.
