Well, you did find the cause of the issue, and that is good news!
Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
The only solution I found after several days trying to connect via GRPS / GSM was to do it with a mqtt gateway .
Work flawlessly but still need to secure the connection between sensor and gateway. But it works !!!
