Input Controls - send value to device

Hi all!
I have several Input Controls /Toggle Switchs) on a Dashboard and I was wondering if there is a faster way to send the commands (payloads) to the devices without using the workflows?
Or maybe it could be an idea: to send command on change.

Maybe there’s an easy way? Thank you in advance!

Welcome to the Losant Forums! When you say “faster,” what do you mean? If your device accepts commands, have you tried Send Device Command instead of Trigger Workflow in the Input Control Block?

Hi Julia! Thank you for your quick reply. I think it was a misunderstood from my side. I missed this: “. Buttons are the only control that performs an action.”

My question was: Is there any way that a Toggle Switch performs an action directly? From an user perspective I think it might be a good idea to have this feature.
