What is the best way to add real time video to a dashboard block as a blob attribute etc ?
Can I just use a wifi security camera stream or is it more complicated than that ?

Losant does not support video currently.
You can, however, do something similar to this blog post where images are captured, processed, and sent to Losant via Blob attributes.
Then, leveraging the Image Dashboard Block to display a picture, you can display the image on a dashboard.
