# Workflow processing

Would the calculated variables “reach” the device state node at the same time if executed one or the other way?

Hi Lars,

I would recommend discovering the answer to this by triggering both workflows, then checking which finished reporting first. 😄

There is also more information on this in the [Losant University “Workflow Mechanics” video](https://www.losant.com/university), which is in Course 5 Chapter 4.
