# Why doesn't my device log show?

Why isn’t my device log showing? The other blocks are working so I know my device is connected but nothing shows on my log. Am i using it wrong?

The device log is currently tied to MQTT connections. With Sigfox devices using webhooks, the device itself never directly connects to our platform, so there are no log entries. This is something we do want to address since we are seeing more users, like yourself, getting device data without connecting to our MQTT broker.
