# rootCA changes?

I see some recent topics on RootCA.  
Have the Losant RootCA changed that I use for secure MQTT?  
If so , how can I stay on top on when these change?

Hi Lars,

The Root CA has been changed, you can find instructions [here](https://forums.losant.com/t/solved-losant-brokers-mosquitto-dependent-on-losant-losantrootca-crt-are-all-unable-to-connect-to-losant/1801/10) on updating the cert. In the future, you can expect multiple email notifications when a change like this occurs. This particular change should not happen again, but rest assured you’d be notified from Losant. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused, and thank you for your patience!
