An Edge node for OPC UA is in fact on the roadmap. We will let you know when we release it.

@Lars_Andersson and @Nate_Usher Our OPC-UA read/write nodes are going through internal testing right now.

Can you describe your use case a little and perhaps what hardware you’re interfacing with? We want to make sure we release something that’ll work for you.

That’s great to hear.

I’m using the Codesys Control runtime on a variety of Linux softPLCs. It has a built in OPC-UA server and I’d like to be able to map that data to devices in Losant.

A variety of industrial PLCs and IOLink masters. More read then write at this point.  
about 1Hz sampling rate.  
Some form of batch upload/ local processing / low level analytics would be interesting
