# Losant Events at 180d mark, what happens?

What happens to Losant events at the 180d and beyond mark? Are they subject to the same telemetry cleanup that telemetry is, beyond the default duration of time the platform allows?

I apologize if I missed this in the documentation.

Yes, [events](https://docs.losant.com/applications/events/#event-limits) are subject to your Losant Organization’s [data retention limit](https://docs.losant.com/organizations/resource-limits/#data-retention), which for your account, is currently the default 180 days. If you need to have that limit increased, please let us know and we will have your Losant account representative reach out to you with pricing.

You can also consider in-app [application archiving](https://docs.losant.com/applications/archiving/#events) for events.
