# Limit on experience components

Hello,

We’re having some issues with characters limit on components.

We’re using a component to save the translations of our application, because the Files functionality takes too long to update when we need to do changes, we’re trying to save our component and this is the message we’re receiving.

There is indeed a limit on the length of an experience view’s body, and that limit is [132,072 characters](https://docs.losant.com/rest-api/schemas#experience-view-patch-schema).

Are you saving all of the translations in a single experience component? Is there a way to break that up across multiple components?

I’m actually surprised that it takes too long to update the file vs. updating a component. Are you using the [Internationalization library template](https://app.losant.com/applications/recent/template-library?templateId=60a57c86aea1e700072b5d0a)? If you have issues with the approach we took with that template, we’d like to know how it’s falling short so we can revise it.
