# how do you get losant to run python scripts

hi I am doing a school project and what I want to do is run python scripts in a workflow on losant is it possible

Hi @steven_ri,

It is not possible to run a python script directly in Losant, but there are ways to get data from a [script to Losant](https://forums.losant.com/t/help-with-bridging-a-python-script-over-to-losant/905), or you could use a [Jupyter Notebook](https://docs.losant.com/notebooks/overview/) which would only require a bit of manipulation.
