# Event List Custom Column - Not showing data in Experience view

Hello,

I’ve created a dashboard with an “Event List” block with a Custom Column displaying data about each event. The data is showing up fine in the dashboard editor, but no values are present in the Experience view. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Do you have the [“Allow Updates” checkbox](https://docs.losant.com/dashboards/event-list/#allowing-updates) checked in the block configuration? Much of the data around individual events is not exposed to experience users unless you opt in to exposing it, which you do by checking this box.

That would explain why you can see the data in the dashboard editor - because you, the Losant user, has the permissions inherently, and with the checkbox unchecked, experience users do not have access to the properties you are trying to display.
