I received a question on encryption on data in motion/at rest(stored) using devices connected to Losant.
The “in motion” part of it I can answer my self since it’s using TLS1.2, but what about data stored within your platform?

Hey @Lars_Andersson,

All the answers you need can be found here:

> **[Losant Security Overview](https://docs.losant.com/references/security/)**
>
> Learn more about security in the Losant platform.

But, to answer your questions, yes. Data is encrypted at rest.

Are you a Tier 4 (99.995% uptime) with google? or lower?
