# edit devices in bulk with a CSV file

I want to know if anyone knows if it is possible to edit the devices in bulk with a csv file.

It is not possible to do via a single API request currently, but you are not the first person to ask for this. I will add a +1 to the feature request.

It will take some effort, but one thing you could do to work around this is:

1. [Import a CSV as a Data Table](https://docs.losant.com/data-tables/import-export/#importing-a-data-table)
2. Create a [Resource Job](https://docs.losant.com/applications/resource-jobs/) targeting that table
3. In a workflow for the job, use a [Device: Update Node](https://docs.losant.com/workflows/data/update-device/) to apply the updates from that row
