Edge Agent Memory Requirements?

Maybe I’ve missed it, but are there any stated minimum resource requirements for an Edge Agent? I’m thinking in particular in terms of memory. For example, the newly announced Pi 4 Compute Module looks like a perfect option and is available in 1GB, 2GB, 4GB & 8GB variants.

Great question!

We actually list the Edge Compute minimum requirements in our documentation.

Just so you don’t have to go fishing, here are our minimum requirements:

  • Memory: 512MB
  • CPU: 1Ghz Single-core
  • Architecture: amd64 , arm , arm64
